A Perspective from Operator’s Around the World

The returns are in and the story is written! ClubIntel’s recently completed study entitled, The Fitness Industry’s Response to COVID-19, Insights into the Collective Improvisation, Innovation and Resilience of Global Fitness Operators, is now available to those who wish to explore the insights it offers.

This study, launched on March 20, 2020, generated close to 200 responses from around the world, of which nearly 85% were owners, C-Suite Executives and property managers. This is the first study to delve into the collective response of the fitness industry to the challenges being posed by the COVID-19 pandemic.

In 1862 Abraham Lincoln said, “We can only succeed by concert. It is not can any of us imagine better? But, can we all do better?” That statement, spoken over 150 years ago, stands true in the data and stories shared in this report. If not for the collaboration of global partners willing to share the survey with their contacts, and the willingness of fitness leaders around the globe sharing their actions and stories, this report could not have been compiled in just over two weeks. For this reason, we extend our thanks to everyone who contributed to making this report possible
