CSEP Professional Development Day, Saturday, June 1, Toronto

The Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology (CSEP) is a national voluntary organization composed of professionals interested and involved in the scientific study of exercise physiology, exercise biochemistry, fitness, and health. CSEP (then known as the Canadian Association of Sport Sciences), was founded at the Pan American Games, Winnipeg, Manitoba in 1967 – the result of four years of cooperative efforts by the Canadian Medical Association and the Canadian Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance.

The CSEP PD Day will feature R.Kin Angela Pereira and a number of Physician presenters on topics including Cardiac Rehab, Obesity management and lifestyle medicine with presenters from the Cleveland Clinic of Canada, University Health Network, CHEO and Emergency Care.  The theme is organized towards the Qualified Exercise Professional including Certified Personal Trainers, Clinical Exercise Physiologists and Kinesiologists.

Presenters will delve into trends, share best practices and unveil innovative strategies on the application of exercise physiology and personal training techniques across diverse age groups, sporting disciplines and clinical contexts.
