Echelon Fitness has acquired FORTË, a B2B fitness streaming platform known for helping gyms and studios deliver branded live and on-demand content. The newly acquired business will operate under the name “ELEVATE by Echelon,” reflecting its role in supporting commercial fitness providers with scalable, tech-driven engagement tools.
Founded in 2015, FORTË has built a global presence with over 457,000 users and integrations with platforms like Mindbody, ABC, and Daxko. Its clients include UFC GYM, Curves, 305 Fitness, and Healthworks. The platform offers proprietary hardware and software that automate livestreaming and integrate with gym management systems.
According to Echelon CEO Lou Lentine, the move is part of the brand’s broader strategy to enhance its commercial and SaaS offerings. The acquisition also allows Echelon to incorporate AI-powered personalization tools developed in partnership with Amazon Web Services.
FORTË founder Lauren Foundos noted that the partnership will enable the platform to scale its technology and community reach with the support of Echelon’s global infrastructure.
The deal reinforces Echelon’s growing presence in the commercial fitness space, following recent moves into AI coaching, recovery products, and telehealth integration.
