For many independent fitness businesses, offering competitive health benefits can be challenging. FIC is examining whether the collective purchasing power of its member network could help secure broader coverage options at lower rates than businesses may be able to access individually.

Before approaching providers, FIC is asking members to complete a short survey to help shape the program.

The survey focuses on which benefits matter most to businesses and their employees, including mental health support, dental, extended health and paramedical care.

FIC says strong participation will also help demonstrate member interest and improve its ability to negotiate favourable pricing and coverage options.

Completing the survey does not commit a business to participating in any future program.

The survey takes approximately three minutes to complete and is open until October 15, 2026.
