Fitness World is expanding its HYROX offering in British Columbia, announcing official affiliate status at three locations as interest in the global fitness race format continues to grow.
The company has launched HYROX Training Club classes at South Surrey Signature and TRAIN by FW University Village, with its new Brentwood Signature location — scheduled to open in late 2026 — set to become the third official HYROX Affiliate location.
The rollout comes ahead of HYROX Vancouver in December, which Fitness World says sold out within minutes.
As an official HYROX Affiliate Partner, Fitness World is combining its existing THE WORX small-group training format with HYROX365 programming, giving members structured preparation for HYROX competition.
The classes are designed to support participants training for the race format, which combines running with functional fitness stations. Fitness World says its broader network is also equipped to support HYROX-style training, with rowing ergs, ski ergs, kettlebells, wall balls and other relevant equipment available across its facilities.
“HYROX has become one of the biggest stages in fitness, empowering athletes at every level to chase new goals,” said Chris Smith, President and CEO of Fitness World. “This partnership is about giving people access to dedicated, high-level training without an elite-level price tag.”
Smith added that members can prepare through THE WORX programming or train independently using equipment available at Fitness World locations.
At South Surrey Signature and University Village, HYROX Training Club classes offered through THE WORX will be included with existing GOAL memberships at no additional cost, according to the company.
The expansion adds another major Canadian fitness operator to the growing network of gyms aligning programming with HYROX as the race brand continues to build its presence across Canada.
Fitness World currently operates 18 locations across British Columbia and positions itself as a high-value, low-cost fitness brand focused on accessible memberships, equipment and expert-led programming.
