Fitstop has announced the launch of Global Games, a new competition series set to roll out in 2026 across Singapore, Los Angeles, and Brisbane.
The initiative marks an expansion of the Australia-founded functional fitness brand into structured, event-based competition, with a format built around strength, endurance, and functional training challenges. The events will follow a stadium-style setup, with participants completing points-based workouts aligned to Fitstop’s core training categories: Perform, Lift, Condition, and Sweat.
Global Games will be open to both Fitstop members and non-members, with two divisions—“ALL STAR” and “PRO”—intended to accommodate a range of experience levels. Participants will compete individually while representing their studios, with scoring based on completed repetitions, loads, and times.
According to the company, the concept builds on internal competitions previously held at the studio level, scaling them into a multi-market event series.
“From early in-studio game days to community competitions, we have always pushed beyond just another workout,” said Pete Hull, CEO and Founder of Fitstop. “Now we are bringing that format to a broader stage.”
The launch also aligns with Fitstop’s ongoing international expansion, with the three host cities reflecting established or developing markets for the brand. In addition to member participation, the events are expected to serve as a marketing and engagement tool for franchise locations.
Fitstop said the competition will be structured to allow participation across different fitness levels, while maintaining a standardized format across all locations.
Ryan Ansell, Head of Brand and Marketing at Fitstop, noted that the initiative is intended to create additional touchpoints beyond regular studio training, while also increasing visibility across its network.
Three events are currently scheduled for 2026, with the company indicating plans to establish Global Games as a recurring series.
