Gym Revival Group, Inc. has announced the introduction of the Future Fitness Leaders Scholarship™, a new initiative aimed at developing the next generation of fitness executives, operators, and entrepreneurs.
The annual program will provide a $2,500 academic award along with tuition-free access to the Gym Revival Certified Operator (GRCO™) program, a training pathway focused on multi-location gym management and operational standards. Scholarship recipients will also receive the official designation of Future Fitness Leader.
According to Gym Revival Group, the initiative is intended to formalize a career pipeline for fitness business leadership. While the fitness sector continues to expand globally, many organizations report challenges in recruiting and preparing executives to manage large-scale operations with data-driven systems.
Richard Miller, CEO and founder of Gym Revival Group, said the program is intended to address a long-standing gap:
“For decades, the fitness industry has been fueled by passion but held back by the absence of structured leadership pipelines. This scholarship is not a gesture—it’s a structural solution. By pairing financial support with institutional training, we are directly investing in the leaders who will set the operational and financial standards of the next era.”
Eligibility and Application Process
The scholarship is open to undergraduate and graduate students worldwide, including in Canada, who are enrolled in kinesiology, exercise science, sports management, business administration, or related disciplines.
Applicants must submit:
- A 750–1,000 word essay identifying inefficiencies in gym operations and proposing a systems-based solution
- Academic transcripts
- One letter of recommendation from a professor, mentor, or employer
Applications are due by November 30, 2025, with the inaugural recipient announced in January 2026.
Broader Context
Gym Revival Group describes the scholarship as part of its mission to professionalize fitness business management through structured training and systems-based approaches. The company said the dual model of financial support and executive training is designed to accelerate career development for students pursuing leadership roles in the fitness industry.
