Inspire360 has released its Q2 2026 GLP-1 Club Intelligence Report, tracking how fitness operators and solution providers are responding to the continued growth of GLP-1 medications.

The latest edition identifies 23 fitness clubs and 12 solution providers taking concrete action in the GLP-1 space, up from 17 clubs and 10 providers in the first quarter.

According to the report, the industry is moving beyond partnership announcements toward active services. Several white-label longevity clinics announced earlier in the year are now operating through licensed clinical partners, while some operators are expanding beyond GLP-1-only programs to include hormone optimization, medical weight management and anti-aging services.

Adoption Continues to Rise

The report estimates that 13.2% of U.S. adults are now using GLP-1 medications, compared with 12.4% in the previous quarter and approximately twice the rate reported three years ago.

As more GLP-1 users enter fitness facilities, Inspire360 says operators will need to better understand how medication-assisted weight loss may affect member needs, including programming, nutrition support, strength preservation and long-term retention.

Clinical Standards and Longevity Services

Baseline bloodwork is also becoming a more prominent issue for clubs working with telehealth and clinical partners. The report points to screening requirements and clinical guidelines that may increase compliance risks for providers that do not complete appropriate testing before treatment.

At the same time, longevity services are becoming more mainstream. Inspire360 highlights programs from Serotonin Centers, UFC GYM and New York Sports Clubs with Thrive that combine GLP-1 treatment with broader hormone and longevity care.

Trainer Readiness Remains a Concern

Despite the growth in club-based GLP-1 initiatives, Inspire360 says the industry’s “trainer readiness gap” continues to widen.

As more members using weight-loss medications enter fitness facilities, many trainers and frontline employees still lack standardized education on how to support them appropriately.

“GLP-1 medications are reshaping who walks into a health club and what they need once they’re there,” said Inspire360 CEO Jason Davis. “This report is how we keep the industry ahead of that shift, tracking exactly what’s changing in clubs, quarter over quarter, so club operators aren’t guessing.”
