MOVATI Athletic has added four more Certified HYROX Training Clubs in Ontario, expanding its role in Canada’s fast-growing functional fitness and endurance racing movement.
The newly certified locations are in Mississauga, Richmond Hill, Burlington and Guelph, bringing MOVATI’s total number of Certified HYROX Training Clubs to nine across Ontario.
The four clubs join MOVATI’s five Ottawa locations, which received HYROX certification in January 2026. The expansion comes ahead of HYROX Toronto 2026, scheduled for Oct. 1–4, 2026.
HYROX has quickly become one of the fitness industry’s most visible competition formats, combining endurance running with functional strength movements in a standardized indoor race. Each event includes eight one-kilometre runs, each followed by a workout station such as sled pushes, sled pulls, wall balls, lunges, rowing or farmer’s carries.
For club operators, the continued growth of HYROX reflects rising consumer demand for structured, event-based training that blends performance, community and measurable progression. MOVATI’s certification gives members access to sport-specific programming designed to support both first-time racers and experienced competitors.
Certified HYROX Training Clubs offer dedicated HYROX classes, functional training zones with turf and sled lanes, endurance-focused cardio areas, performance coaching and recovery amenities such as saunas, steam rooms, pools and wellness services.
MOVATI Athletic currently operates 19 clubs across Ontario and Alberta. The company is celebrating its 29th year in 2026 and continues to position itself around premium facilities, performance-driven programming and an expanded member experience.
With nine HYROX-certified clubs now operating in Ontario, MOVATI is strengthening its position in the Canadian functional training market while creating a clear training pathway for members preparing for HYROX Toronto.
