The Fitness Industry Council of Canada (FIC) is holding an online silent auction for a Precor EFX 885 Elliptical Fitness Crosstrainer, with 100 per cent of the proceeds supporting the organization’s ongoing advocacy and industry initiatives.

Donated by Precor, the commercial-grade EFX 885 has a stated value of $12,000 CAD, with bidding beginning at $7,500. The auction closes November 6, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. ET.

The EFX 885 features Precor’s Converging CrossRamp technology, allowing users to vary the incline to target different lower-body muscle groups while maintaining a low-impact movement pattern. Moving handlebars provide an upper-body component for a total-body workout, while the elliptical’s natural stride is designed for comfortable, controlled movement across a wide range of users.

Installation and warranty arrangements for the winning bidder will be handled directly by Precor.

Funds raised through the auction will support FIC’s work representing and advocating for Canada’s fitness industry, including industry research, government relations, education and initiatives designed to strengthen the sector.

The auction is being hosted online through Zeffy.
