Rexall Pharmacy has launched a new Weight Management Program designed to provide Canadians with personalized, clinically supported care through a convenient at-home experience.

The program combines physician-led assessments, pharmacist support, lifestyle guidance and medication delivery, including access to GLP-1 medications where clinically appropriate.

Patients begin with a comprehensive assessment conducted by a partnered physician, who evaluates overall health and may recommend lab testing such as blood work. Based on each patient’s health profile, needs and goals, the physician then discusses treatment options that may address both weight and related health conditions.

Rexall says the program is intended to create a more connected healthcare experience by integrating pharmacist expertise, physician-led care and in-store clinical services.

As part of that model, patients can access health testing services at Rexall Pharmacist Care Clinics, including body composition analysis to help track changes beyond weight alone. The inclusion of body composition assessment reflects a growing shift in weight-management care toward measuring broader health indicators, not just the number on the scale.
