MEMBER SURVEY: Safety Measures That Would Make Gym Members Feel Safer

Safety Measures That Would Make Gym Members Feel Safer

Fitness Industry Council of Canada’s Ontario Task Force has created a survey to measure safety measures that would make gym members feel safer. FIC is requesting that club operators share this survey with their members in order to assist in collecting Canadian Data.

This survey focuses on recommending changes to Standard Operating Procedures to be implemented by health and fitness facilities. Although originally created by Ontario, FIC will be able to use this survey nationwide. There is a field at the bottom where the survey participant may indicate where they are located.

The purpose of this survey is to develop guidelines to manage the health and safety of members and staff and to mitigate the risk of COVID transmission in these facilities prior to re-opening.

This survey is anonymous and FIC would love to hear from members about what procedures will make them feel safer and more confident if/when returning to the gym. This will help clubs both private and public make improvements to existing precautions, implement new ones and provide the government with components to a suggested framework for re-opening the industry.

Please share this survey with your members.
