Spotify has announced the launch of a new fitness offering, introducing guided workout experiences directly within its platform as it expands beyond music and audio into broader wellness content.
The new Fitness hub provides users with access to curated workout playlists and content from established fitness creators across categories including strength, cardio, yoga, and meditation. As part of the rollout, Spotify has also partnered with Peloton to offer Premium users in select markets access to a library of more than 1,400 on-demand classes integrated into the app.
The move builds on existing user behavior, with Spotify noting that a significant portion of its user base already engages with fitness-related content. The company reports more than 150 million active workout playlists globally, alongside growing demand for structured fitness experiences.
The integration allows users to access video and audio workouts across devices without leaving the platform, positioning Spotify as a more centralized destination for both entertainment and wellness content.
The expansion reflects continued convergence between digital media platforms and the fitness industry, as companies look to capture greater share of consumer attention through integrated, on-demand health and wellness experiences.
