The District Padel & Pickleball Club has announced a partnership with M3 Padel Academy, bringing the internationally recognized training program to Canada for the first time.

The partnership will establish Canada’s first M3 Padel Academy at The District’s flagship facility in Mississauga, with programming scheduled to begin in September.

Founded in Spain, M3 Padel Academy operates in nine countries and is recognized for its structured approach to player development. According to the organization, its coaching methodology has helped develop 15 world No. 1 players and produced more than 240 international titles while serving over 1,100 active students worldwide.

Beginning this fall, the academy will offer a year-round training program organized into three progressive trimesters, focusing on technical skills, tactical development and performance. Instruction will be delivered through small-group coaching with an emphasis on ongoing assessment and measurable progress.

In addition to adult programming, The District will introduce an M3 Junior Academy, providing age-appropriate instruction for younger players, as well as an M3 coaching certification program designed for coaches across Canada interested in becoming M3 certified.

“Our goal has always been to develop the sport in Canada by bringing the world’s best resources and training opportunities to our community,” said Javier Rodriguez, Chief Operations and Sports Officer at The District. “The M3 Padel Academy is the gold standard in coaching and player development, and we’re proud to introduce its methodology to Canada at our flagship club in Mississauga, setting a new benchmark for player development in the country.”

“The M3 methodology is built on creating measurable progress and developing players at every stage of their journey,” said Jorge Martínez of M3 Academy. “Canada is an exciting emerging market for padel, and we believe The District is the ideal partner to introduce our methodology and help develop the next generation of players and coaches.”

The partnership reflects the continued growth of padel in Canada, with clubs increasingly investing in structured coaching programs and international partnerships to support player and coach development.
